From Clouds to Sun!

We sure have had a great streak of sunshine over the past week or more!   It’s been fantastic!

It seems over that past few days I’ve had the same message  “shared” with me a few times.  When listening to a webinar late last week with T. Harv Eker, one analogy he gives is a deeper insight into the old saying, “there’s two sides to every coin.”  Sometimes we get so used to hearing some of these “old” sayings, we don’t really ponder on them or stop to realize how true they really are.  Harv says, “In order to have a right, we must have a left.  An up, a down; a front, a back.  In order to know what’s good, we must know what’s bad.”  Sometimes I know for myself, when the days are consistently cloudy around here, it’s easy to forget or believe, the sun will shine again!  And I don’t just mean that literally, figuratively as well. But it’s so true that in order to appreciate the sun, we must have some clouds!   When we are going through a series of “cloudy” days, in our life- rather it’s a relationship, finances, spiritually, or in our health, we need to get our focus off the clouds, and onto the fact that the sun will shine in our lives again.  So many times, we stay focused on what’s  going wrong, rather than what’s down the line a few months or even weeks.  And yes, we don’t really know what’s going to happen, but we can decide how we’re going to handle situations that are going on right now, and that will affect what happens later.  I’ve seen this happen in my own life many times.  If life were always “going our way”, every day, all our life through, we would stop appreciating it and take it for granted.  We go through rough times to teach us something, to grow and become stronger because of what we learned and to then appreciate the sun- the abundance, the joy, the fun,  the beauty in life!  So the next time you’re feeling a little blue, or something doesn’t go the way you planned them to, just remember, “this too shall pass”, put on some great music, smile, and know that you still can enjoy life!  See the bigger picture and feel blessed!

Make it the best day ever!
